Her visits to Masai Mara and Samburu and her experience of getting so close to wildlife in their natural habitat has influenced these works greatly.

Her works have been displayed in solo and group exhibitions in India and overseas. Her solo art shows held in Mumbai were tremendously received by patrons and the Art community. Positive press feedback and coverage in The Bombay Times and the DNA validated her exhibitions. In early 2010, her works were also part of the 9th Indian Paintings Exhibition held at the National Art Gallery of Indonesia, Jakarta. She was also part of “Advaita-V” a group show of upcoming artists in November 2011. In 2012 she was part of a group show, “Vibrant Hues” in the Jehangir terrace art gallery displaying her acrylic paintings.

She showcased her works at the Polka Dot Art Gallery in Nairobi in June 2017. She was also part of the Kenya Arts Diary 2018 and the exhibition for the same at the Nairobi National Museum. She has also been part of the ISK Art Show in 2017, 2018 and 2019 in Nairobi. Her works have been displayed at the National Museums of Kenya in July 2018. Her latest collection is inspired from her move to Kenya and was well appreciated by art patrons and critics.

“My influences are first and foremost everything I see, feel and experience. Art therefore is a synthesis of my personal feelings, the subject or colours that inspire me and my materials and techniques. Vibrant hues and serenity are the foundation of my acrylic works. My paintings are a mix of figuratives and abstracts. Lord Buddha is a common feature in several works, as are lonely landscapes and flowy abstracts.”

Come and view the beautiful works by this extremely talented artist currently on display at the Talisman.
