We love good food, good wine, good atmosphere…and good company.

Food, Glorious Food:  Fish fresh off the boat from Lamu.  Spices direct from Thailand.  Farm-raised duck and vegetables from our very own organic garden.  By mixing this all up with authentic, homemade, locally-sourced ingredients, Talisman makes for an exciting fusion of European, Thai and African cuisines.  We do everything from scratch and that shines through in our dedication to creating the best food in Nairobi.

A Sumptuous Setting:  A garden to die for, filled with fig trees and bombax.  Sprawling terraces.  A popular bar.  Favorite wines and champagnes by the glass.  Carved wooden pillars from Pakistan, gorgeous tapestries, striking African art exhibitions and special events, great live music and, oh, the fireplaces tucked into special snugs.  Whether you’re a family of four, romancing a new love, or celebrating with friends, Talisman is the perfect restaurant for indoor/outdoor dining.

A gourmet getaway in the heart of Karen, Nairobi, Talisman is in close proximity to Wilson Airport, Karen Blixen Museum, Nairobi National Park, the Giraffe Centre and the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust’s Elephant Orphanage.

• Monday: CLOSED

Please note: Kitchen closes at 10pm Tues-Sat and 9pm Sun. The restaurant remains open until the last reveler heads home!

Breakfast served 8am-11am daily.

Afternoon bitings served 3-6pm daily.
